Aleksandra Perec is a Polish illustrator, sculptor and graphic designer based in Warsaw. An Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw graduate, Aleksandra is a freelance artist who exhibited her art in multiple venues both in Poland and Europe.
Aleksandra’s greatest inspiration and joy is nature. She is interested in eco-design, art and fashion. Inspired by her hometown and southern Polish landscapes she creates compelling visions of animals and nature. In her graphic design, she is trying to resolve the humans’ technology vs. nature dilemma. Aleksandra is also a sculptor, glass and ceramic maker who incorporates traditional graphic design techniques in her work, but her weapon of choice is batik*.
*In this technique, paraffin or beeswax is used to resist paint or dye on fabric; the designs and patterns are produced on the unwaxed areas.
